Thank you for your reflections and for that prayer. Yours is one of the voices I find most comforting in this time.

Thank you Cameron!!!

There doesn’t appear to be much honesty these dark days.

Even here in Canada, the under belly of society is starting to rise but the fear of what is happening in America has people reflecting.

Hopefully we won’t go down that road because it has sparked a patriotism that I have not seen in many years.

As with Heather Cox Richardson, you both shed truth and light.

Bless you!!!

Thank-you for your words that I feel offer a beacon of light and hope in these very disturbing times. It is essential, as you say, to grieve as we can then open our hearts to healing and imagining a better world. It can happen, and though it feels we stumble and fall with all these changes, we can move forward in faith to incorporate the values that connect us and give us new life.

I am so reminded of Jeremiah 1 today. It is not about us. Jeremiah does not want the job and God says, "Yes, you do." I see especially verse 10 in full force going on in North America. And there is going to be pain with it. Here in Canada, we have a fresh vision of who we are as a nation due to Mr. Trump. Already new approaches, new positioning are at work. And in all of this messy work going on, we need to be reminded of the radical community that was formed in Acts 2 and rolled out from that area of the Middle East into all the world. God is still in charge. And yes, for those of us with family and friends in the US, we are very much in this together. Prayers for wisdom and discernment rising. Rev. Scott Brown

I believe that we are in what has been called a “ progress trap”. And I believe that the catastrophic realities of climate change are now upon us…we out of time.

I believe we will need to experience things far worse than Trump/Maga for people to wake up.
